Installing the Emergency/Parking Band Brake (HDi)
1. Locate and install the Emergency/Parking Brake Cable to the Brake Band assembly.
Lay inner cable across the open ends of brake band and insert two slotted pins to secure
the cable. Insert pins with slot facing to the right. Photo 106
2. Spread the mounting bracket plates apart just enough to insert the pins into the slots of
