IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before using this subwoofer please read the
following instructions carefully observing all the
safety hints. Please keep this manual in a safe place
for future reference.
1/ Keep the power cords well protected IE do not
allow heavy objects to crush the cable or leave it
twisted as this may cause the cable to fray resulting
in electric shock. If you must use an extension cord
please try to keep the length to a minimum.
Common sense applies to all things electric and this
subwoofer is no different in this regard.
2/ Do keep this unit in a well ventilated place making
sure no drapes or other items are placed on top or near
the subwoofer as the amplifier can get quite warm
and indeed hot if the unit is not kept well ventilated.
Do not place any other objects on the subwoofer like
a vase because low frequencies generated by this
subwoofer can and will move anything placed on top
of the unit and can result in spilt water. This can
severely damage the unit and cause electric shock.
3/ If this unit requires servicing do not attempt to
repair it yourself always refer service to an authorized
Argon audio service centre. High voltages are located
within the cabinet which can result in serious injury
4/ Should you notice any malfunction including a
burning smell please switch the unit off, remove the
power plug from the wall and refer the unit to your
nearest Argon audio service centre.
5/ Argon audio subwoofers are designed to operate
on AC240V/50/60Hz power supply which is standard
in Europe. Do not attempt to operate on any other voltage.
