Electronic kitchen scale
1 Insert the enclosed lithium battery in the battery compartment at the back of the scale. Make sure that the positive + side is placed upwards 2 Place the scale on a hard, even surface. 3 To start, touch the ON/TARE button. 4 HELO will show in the display and then 0g. The scale is now ready to use. 5 Choose the unit of measurement - Kg or Lb. Press the UNIT button. Kg/g Lb/oz 6 Place the item to be weighed on the platform.
7 Using the TARE button Start the scale and when 0g shows in the display place the first item on the platform. 8 Touch the ON/TARE button and the display returns to 0g shows Tare. 9 Add the new item and the weight shows in the display. 10 You can continue to use the ON/TARE button to get the individual weight of further items. 11 Press ON/TARE after the last item, remove all from the scale and the total weight will show in the display.
12 You can turn off the scale by pressing and holding the ON/TARE button or the scale will turn off automatically after 60 seconds. The battery is low. Change to a new battery. The scale is overloaded. Remove the weight and start again. HANDLING & CARE • The scale is a precision instrument. Avoid knocking or dropping it. • Do not try to dissemble the scale. • Clean the surface with a glass cleaner. Never immerse it in water or any liquid. • Keep the scale away from excessive heat or cold.
