Start VoIP telephony (In this example: ADSL access)
Access mode in the example: ATU-R

Setup the xDSL connection.
The profile used to set up the xDSL
connection (in this example, Profil 1) will
also be used for VoIP telephony.
Open the Main menu.





If no xDSL connection has been setup (by
pressing <Start> in the state display), a
connection will be setup automatically at
this point using the default profile (see
page 40).

Depending on the protocol and access:
The ARGUS will display the user name
saved in the profile for the PPP
connection. The user name can, however,
be changed. 



If you change the user name, you must
enter the password again

<Edit> To edit the preset profile (in this
example, Profil 1).
The access parameters for the
connection are blocked. The test
parameters can be configured.
If the user name is changed
here, it will only be placed in
temporary storage; the profile
itself is not modified.
The password entered here is not
saved in the profile.
