2. Raise brush:
a. Remove lynch pins from caster shaft
tops.
b. Remove desired amount of height
adjuster clips from caster shaft tops
and install onto lower caster shaft
ends.
c. Turn height adjuster clips so they DO
NOT align with flat side of caster
shafts.
d. Reinstall lynch pins.
SET BRUSH ANGLE
See Figure 14.
1. Squeeze brush lock trigger to unlock
brush position.
2. Move handlebars left or right until brush is
in desired position.
3. Release trigger to lock brush position.
TRANSPORT UNIT
1. Stop engine and close fuel valve.
2. Secure unit chassis to transport vehicle.
NOTICE: NEVER secure from rods or
linkages that could be damaged.
For Best Sweeping Results
Run in an overlapping series of paths.
Start in the middle of large areas and
sweep debris to each side.
ALWAYS direct discharge with wind
direction.
Snow is most easily removed as soon as
snow falls.
For Best De-Thatching Results
IMPORTANT: Front caster kit is required for
de-thatching.
See Accessories on page 25.
De-thatch in spring to clear winter
undergrowth.
Adjust brush height so it just touches the
grass.
Set brush angle full left or right so thatch
gets cleared only once.
De-thatch dry grass.
Use a slow speed to clear thatch to avoid
damage to lawn.
