To write messages
Your phone allows you to write and edit text messages of up to 160 characters.
1. In Standby mode, press Menu, choose Message menu, press Select.
2. Message menu, choose Compose, press Select.
3. Key in the content, press Option, choose a selection, press Select.
Note: To key in the content, you can see “Input method “ on Page 11.
Note: To use picture message function, your network operator or service provider
support is necessary. Only phones that contain this function can receive and
display picture messages.
Your phone provides the following selections for your option:
Send single: Allows you send a text message immediately.
Send group: Allows you to send to a group that specified in your phone book.
Save: Allows you to save a message and send it later.
Clear all: Allows you to erase the text composed in edit screen.
Add symbol: Allows you to add one more symbols in edit screen.
Insert object: Allows you to add pictures in your message.
Use templates: Allows you to insert templates specified in “Templatesin message
menu.
Font style: Allows you to choose different input font style edited in your message.
Unsent and Outbox Message
After sending out the message, the message is saved in the outbox folder. You can also
save the message in the Unsent mails to send it later. You can see “To write messages
on Page 17.
Edit a template
If you use one or more messages that you send often, you can save these messages as
templates in your phone. Your phone allows you to save up to five templates in your
phone.
1. In Standby mode, press Menu, choose Message menu, press Select.
2. Choose Template, press Select, select a template, press Edit.
3. Key in the content, press OK to save the template.
