• Valid time: Allow you to set the length of time for which your text
messages will be stored at the SMS center.
• Format: Allow you to send different types of messages if your
network operator’s service center can offer the function.
• Delivery report: Allow you to get the report whether your message
has been delivered or not.
• Reply path: Allow the recipient of your SMS message to send you a
reply through your message center.
• Broadcast: This is the network service that allows you to receive text
messages on various topics, such as the weather or traffic.
Note: To active Broadcast, you need your operator’s service.
MMS (Multimedia message)
The feature allows you to send the message that contain text, sound and a
picture. Depending on the network, you may receive a text message that
includes an Internet address where you can view the multimedia message.
Your phone supports the following formats in MMS function.
Picture: JPG (indicate by icon
), GIF(indicate by icon ), and
BMP(indicate by icon ).
Sound: monophonic ringing tones (indicate by icon
) and polyphonic
Midi (indicate by icon )
Motion JPEG (indicate by icon )
Note: You are not able to receive multimedia messages during a call, a
game, or any active WAP connection over GPRS data. Do not rely
upon only multimedia messages for essential communications
since delivery of multimedia message can fail for a variety of
reasons.
