The air conditioning unit must be fully earthed to prevent electric shocks.
Do not connect the earth wire to lightning conductors, water or gas pip-
ing or telephone system earth wires.

Do not install the air conditioning unit near sources of heat or fl ammable
material.

Do not install the air conditioning unit near heat sources, fl ammable ma-
terial or in an area with ignition sources in continuous operation (e.g.
naked fl ames, gas appliances in operation or electrical stoves in opera-
tion).

Do not install the air conditioning unit in areas at risk of fl ammable gas
leaks.

Once installation is complete, check there are no gas leaks in the work
area. In the event of a refrigerant leak, ventilate the area immediately.

During installation or transfer of the air conditioning unit, make sure the
refrigerant circuit has been bled to ensure no air is present. Only use
the specifi ed refrigerant (R32).
