7. INSTRUCTIONS FOR IGNITION AND SWITCH-OFF
WITH EUROSIT VALVE
7.1. IGNITION
Bring knob 1 from position (o ) to
position (pilot).
Fully press knob 1 for approx. 20 se-
conds and act on the piezoelectric but-
ton 2 repeatedly to switch-on the pilot
(check from opening 3).
If knob 1 is released, the pilot switches
o ; repeat the operation and keep
pressed for longer until the ame re-
mains on. The longer time is necessary
to allow the air eventually present insi-
de the gas piping to bleed.
Rotate knob 1 anti-clockwise from the
pilot ignition position to the index cor-
responding to the wanted temperatu-
re, from 1 (approx. 40° C) to 7 (approx.
70° C).
72. SWITCH-OFF

7.3. SAFETY DEVICES
To guarantee the correct functionality of the appliance, this is equipped with the fol-
lowing safety devices:
- Thermocouple ame control ( g. 5):it interrupts the ow of gas in case of no pilot
ame. The repetitive, not occasional, intervention of this safety device, indicates an
incorrect functioning of the appliance for which the intervention of quali ed sta is
necessary.
- Overtemperature thermostat: acts with the same methods of the thermocouple in
case the water temperature exceeds 90°C; in this case, the appliance cannot be re-
ignited until the hot water has been drained.
However, the intervention of quali ed sta is necessary for the removal of the defect
before re-ignition of the appliance.
