USE AND INSTALLATION RECOMMENDATIONS
1. To save gas and for improved appliance
performance, we recommend leaving the
thermostat in position corresponding ( g.
15) (approx. 60°C). As well as such tempe-
rature and in the presence of particularly
hard waters (waters with excessive lime
scale percentage), limestone deposits in-
side the water heater, are reduce.
2. Ensure the plant hot water cocks are per-
fectly sealed in that any dripping means
gas consumption and increase of the wa-
ter temperature, with consequent forming
of steam.
• It is essential to empty the appliance if
the same has to remain unused in premi-
ses subject to frost.
• The water heater is equipped with a ma-
gnesium anode mounted in boiler. The du-
ration of the anode is proportional to the
average temperature, the chemical com-
position of the water and the amount of
withdrawals. The anode mounted in fac-
tory is envisioned for an e ciency of ap-
prox. ve years, in average working con-
ditions. It is, however, preferable to check
the anode every 18-24 months, bearing in
mind that it must have a su ciently even
surface. When the diameter falls below 10-
12 mm, we recommend replacing it with
an original anode.
NB: The anode is mounted underneath the
white boss, located in the upper part of the
appliance.
3. For correct maintenance (to be carried out
regularly at least once a year), we recom-
mend:
checking the seal of the gas part with
eventual replacement of the gaskets
visually checking the general status of
the appliance and of the combustion
checking the combustion chamber and,
eventually, clean the burner, the noz-
zles and the thermocouple.
verifying the correct gas ow
verifying the functioning of the water
safety systems (temperature and pres-
sure limit, hydraulic valve)
verifying the functioning of the gas sa-
fety systems (gas valve, no gas or ame,
etc...)
verifying the state of the fumes de ec-
tor
CALIBRATION CHECK ON THE GAS VALVE
NOTE
For category II2H3+, appliances prepared for G20 methane gas functioning, calibration has
already been carried out in factory; no adjustment is therefore requested with this gas.
For adaptation to functioning with G30-G31 liquid gas, it will be su cient to replace the noz-
zles of the main burner and of the pilot.
GAS SUPPLY PRESSURE (natural gas and liquid gas)
The pressure of the supply gas, measured at P pressure inlet by means of manometer, must
be as reported in the table.
