7.3 YEARLY
At least once every year the following should be checked:
7.3.1 the inspection and test routines recommended daily and quarterly should be
performed;
7.3.2 each detector should be checked for correct operation in accordance with the
manufacturer's recommendations;
7.3.3 a visual inspection of all cable fittings and equipment should be undertaken to ensure
that no damage has taken place;
7.3.4 a visual inspection should be made to ensure that no structural or occupancy
changes have affected the requirements for the siting of the manual call points,
detectors and sounders.
