Safety Warning
The Sidewinder is constructed using tempered safety glass, which reduces the risk of injury. In
order to minimize the risk of serious injury, these instructions must be followed as written. Any
deviation from these instructions can result in serious injury.
Step 1:
Find the middle of your curb, set and plumb the 2 wall jambs on your centerline and mark the
holes with a marker. Drill holes with a 3/16” drill bit and insert wall anchors.
Step 2:
Attach wall jambs to the wall by using 6 (F8 X 1 ¼) screws.
Step 3:
Slide the door assembly into wall jamb on fixed panel side. Drill 1/8” pilot holes and secure on
the inside with 3 (F6X 3/8) screws.
Step 4:
Telescope the door side of the assembly into opposite wall jamb, being sure to plumb level the
door. Drill 1/8” pilot holes and secure with 3 (F6 X 3/8) screws.
Step 5:
Drill 1/8” pilot holes. Attach F6 X 3/8 screw into top and bottom to secure telescope extrusion.
Step 6:
Slide vinyl sweep onto the bottom of the door (2 pieces, 1 long and 1 short)
Step 7:
Attach the 6 X 6 back to back pull.
Step 8:
Silicone inside and out of wall jambs and bottom of door assembly. Allow the enclosure to cure
for 24 hours before use.
Clean glass and aluminum weekly with a mild bathroom cleaner to maintain optimal appearance.
