Storage
The Arlo SmartHub VMB4540 and Base Station with Siren VMB4500 and VMB4000 include one
or two USB ports on the rear panel. If you use your camera with a SmartHub or base station
you can use this feature.
You can connect a USB storage device to the USB port and store your Arlo recordings both in
the cloud and on the USB device.
If the SmartHub or Base Station with Siren isn’t connected to the internet, recordings continue
to be saved on your USB storage device. If you’re using an active live stream connection
between a Pro 4 Spotlight Camera and a SmartHub, you can record to a USB storage device in
1080p. For 2K Local Live Stream from a Pro 4 Spotlight Camera, the SmartHub automatically
records to a USB storage device if one is connected.
Your Arlo app noties you when the connected USB storage device is low on storage space or
is full.
