Malfunction Cause Remedial measure
Fired cartridge case
jams in the chamber.
Cartridge case deformed or cham-
ber dirty.
Remove the magazine. Push the
cartridge case out through the
barrel using a wooden dowel. Clean
the iP1 pistol. Use other / recom-
mended ammunition.
Cartridge is not
chambered.
Faulty ammunition. Use other / recommended am-
munitio.
Chamber dirty. Unload and clean the iP1 pistol.
Recoil spring damaged. Replace recoil spring.
Magazine not inserted correctly. Push in the magazine completely
(must engage noticeably).
Magazine damaged. Replace magazine.
(Last) cartridge is
not delivered from
the magazine.
Magazine spring damaged. Contact Armatix U.S.A., Inc. or
replace magazine.
Magazine damaged. Replace magazine.
Slide does not re-
main back after the
last shot.
Faulty ammunition. Use other / recommended ammuni-
tion.
Magazine spring damaged. Contact Armatix U.S.A., Inc. or
replace magazine.
Slide does not go back fully. Clean the iP1 pistol, and perform a
function test. Use other / recom-
mended ammunition.
Slide release lever damaged. Contact Armatix U.S.A., Inc.
Slide does not close
completely.
Faulty ammunition. Use other / recommended ammuni-
tion.
iP1 pistol is dirty. Clean the iP1 pistol.
Recoil spring damaged. Replace recoil spring.
