29 Changing the iW1 wristwatch batteries

• The battery included with the iW1 wristwatch is not rechargeable. Never try to recharge

non-rechargeable batteries. They may explode or catch fire.

• Never try to disassemble batteries. Battery fluids can cause serious injuries.

• Never expose batteries to high temperatures because they may explode.

The iW1 wristwatch operates using a single CR2032 battery. To change it, proceed as follows:

1. With the display of the iW1 wristwatch facing down, remove the battery by turning the battery

compartment cover counterclockwise.

2. Turn the iW1 wristwatch over and allow the old battery to fall out.

3. With the face of the iW1 wristwatch facing down again, insert the new battery with the nega-

tive side facing downwards.

4. Place the battery compartment cover back on the iW1 wristwatch and turn it clockwise to

lock it in place.

Release and remove

the battery compart-

ment cover.

Insert the battery as

shown.

Replace and lock the

battery compartment

cover.

The wristwatch is now

ready for use.
