ceiling tiles, StainsAway! specialty coating can be used to
revive the appearance of your Armstrong ceiling tiles. When used as directed, StainsAway! specialty coating
may also extend the practical life of ceiling tiles by keeping them looking like new!
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Read cautions and directions carefully before using. When spraying suspended ceilings, cover
everything beneath/under area with cloth or newspaper. Test StainsAway! specialty coating in an obscure,
small area first to determine color match. StainsAway! specialty coating should be shaken well as
it contains extremely high amounts of solid material.
1. Shake can well for 2 minutes after marble rattles. Shake occasionally during use.
2. Hold can about 8-12 inches from surface and spray light coats over discolored area. Repeat.
3. If clogging develops twist off the spray button and clean in thinner. Do not stick pins or other objects
into can valve.
Warning if you scrape, sand or remove old paint, you may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC. Contact the Nation

Vapors may ignite explosively. Vapor may cause flash fire. Keep away from heat, sparks and flame. Do not
smoke. Extinguish all flames and pilot lights, and turn off stoves, heaters, electric motors and other sources of
ignition during use and until all vapors are gone. Prevent buildup of vapors by opening all windows and doors
to achieve cross ventilation. Use only with adequate ventilation. Do not breathe vapors or spray mist. Ensure
fresh air entry during application and drying. If you experience eye watering, headache or dizziness or if air
monitoring demonstrates vapor/mist levels are above applicable limits, wear an appropriate, properly fitted
respirator (NIOSH/MSHA approved) during and after application. Follow respirator manufacturer’s directions
for respirator use. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling. Do not puncture
or incinerate (burn) container. Exposure to heat or prolonged exposure to sun may cause bursting. Do not
expose to heat or stove at temperatures above 120 degrees F.
VAPOR HARMFUL. MAY AFFECT THE BRAIN OR NERVOUS SYSTEM CAUSING DIZZINESS, HEADACHE
OR NAUSEA. CAUSES EYE, SKIN, NOSE AND THROAT IRRITATION. HARMFUL IF SWALLOWED.
NOTICE: Reports have associated repeated and prolonged occupational overexposure to solvents with
permanent brain and nervous system damage. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling
the contents may be harmful or fatal.
WARNING: This product contains a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer.
FIRST AID: If you experience difficulty in breathing, leave the area to obtain fresh air. If continued difficulty is
experienced, get medical assistance immediately. In case of eye contact, flush immediately with plenty of
water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention immediately; for skin, wash thoroughly with soap and
water. If swallowed, get medical attention immediately.
DISPOSAL: Dispose of container and unused contents in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.
