OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
LED DESK LAMP CL-4R-20
___________________________________________________________________________
1. General information
The CL-4R-20 is a 20-
inch LED gooseneck
lamp for the lighting of
mixing consoles and
other devices in the
audio / video area.
The very robust lamp
head (aluminium, CNC
milled) and the use of a
high-quality metal
flexible hose meet the
special requirements for
professional use. Highly
selected LEDs (CRI>90)
and a diffuser for optimal light distribution create a particularly comfortable working
environment and ensure maintenance-free operation. The lamp can be dimmed either
analogue in the voltage range of 3-12V, or with PWM. Due to the integrated bridge
rectifier, the polarity of the operating voltage can be neglected. Operation is therefore
also possible with AC voltage.
With regard to a blue light hazard when using LEDs, the photo-biological
measurement of the lamp according to EN 62471:2009 resulted in a classification
in the risk group RG0 (no hazard).
2. Operation / functions
The lamp is designed for a nominal voltage of 12V DC and is therefore compatible
with most sound and light control desks available on the market.
In order to achieve a very long service life for our lamps, the LEDs are only loaded
with 40% of their maximum current. As a result, the expected service life of the LEDs
corresponds to more than 50,000 hours and allows long and maintenance-free use.
Please make sure that the flexible hose (gooseneck) is not bent too sharply.
Overstretching causes irreversible damage. The bending radius must not be less
than 6 times the diameter of the flexible hose!
(6 x 8 = max. bending radius R=48 mm) After opening the connector housing, the
orientation of the XLR- PIN insert can be adjusted in 45° steps to the respective
mechanical properties of different consoles. Under no circumstances should solvent-
containing cleaners be used for cleaning the lamp. Please avoid excessive wetting of
the flexible hose. For further information, please refer to the diagrams under points 4.
