Problem

Unplug the humidifier and plug it back in. Turn the mist level
dial to the desired mist setting.
Add at least 3 cups / 475 mL of purified or distilled water to
the water tank.
New machine, take off tank cover, place the water tank in
cool and dry place for 12 hours.
Turn off the humidifier and remove the water tank from the
base. Clean the humidifier (see Cleaning & Maintenance,
page 5).
Check to make sure the nozzle is not clogged or dirty.
Make sure the water tank is properly aligned with the base.
The water level may be low. Check and refill as needed.
Make sure the humidifier is placed on a flat, level surface.
There may be mineral buildup inside the base. Clean the
transducer with a cleaning brush and distilled white vinegar
(see Cleaning & Maintenance, page 5).
Water may be dirty or has been sitting in the tank for a long
period of time. Clean the humidifier (see Cleaning &
Maintenance, page 5) and refill with purified or distilled
water.
Turn the mist level dial to a higher mist setting.
Make sure the nozzle is not blocked or clogged.
Make sure that the water tank is properly aligned with the base.
Make sure the water tank cap is securely in place
When humidity is too high, water may condense on the
surface of the humidifier or surrounding area. Turn down
the mist level or turn off the humidifier.
Water outlet may be blocked by mineral buildup. Clean the
water outlet (see Cleaning & Maintenance, page 5).
Mist is leaking from
the base.
Turn off and unplug the humidifier. Make sure the water tank
is properly aligned with the base.
