- Now press “Start Update” to execute the update.

Note: Do not interrupt the update process! During the update, do not close the LSeries Manager and do not shut

down the computer. In addition, make sure not to shut down the lamphead or disconnect the USB connection

(if you do, the update will fail).

When the installation process is complete you will receive the message “Installation ﬁ nished successfully” on your screen.

If you do not receive this message, the update might have failed. Please try to start the update again. If the problem still persists,

you should contact your local ARRI service partner. Please read out the error log of the L-Series Manager. If the lamphead does not

react after updating, please also contact your ARRI service partner.

Note: A downgrade (to an older ﬁ rmware version) of your lamphead can be performed only by an ARRI service partner.

5.3.8 System Messages

The tab "System Messages" provides internal messages about the lamphead.

Each time the software has been closed, the system messages will be deleted.
