5. Operating

5.1 Lens Data Display

The LDS integrated into the FEM-2 is compatible with all

lenses equipped with ARRI LDS contacts.

The LDS status LED photo indicates the status of the

LDS system as follows:

• The lens data display is connected to the LDD socket

photo on the top of the module. The following

cables should be used:

LDD K4.55855.0

LDD cable 0.5m / 1.7 ft Spiral Cable

LDD-FP K2.54172.0

LDD-FP cable 0.6m /2ft Spiral Cable

Note: For details of how to use the lens data dis-

plays, see the operating instructions provided

with the displays.

• The installation of the lens motors is described in

chapter 5.3.
