5.5 Time code
Check if the area for the time code (barcode)
exposure at the edge of the lm is outside of
the image area dened by the used format mask.
If the selected format mask does not cover the
time code area, the time code will be exposed
into the image area.

Note: Time code operation is described in the instruction
manual for the ARRIFLEX 435 Advanced.

Changing the batteries
The batteries for the time code clock are located under
a cover on the bottom of the FEM-2 photo.
• Use a coin to screw open the battery compartment.
The correct time code must be set after changing
the battery.
