7. Click Restore Chosen File.
The gateway will automatically reboot.
Reset the Gateway Configuration Settings
WARNING! This process also deletes any custom gateway configurations you may have
already created. ARRIS recommends that you create a backup copy of your configuration
before resetting your gateway. See Back Up Your Gateway Configuration (page 55) for more
information.
From the gateway Web Manager, do the following to open the Status Security screen:
1. From any gateway Web Manager screen, click the Utilities main menu button on the
gateway Web Manager menu bar.
2. Click FACTORY DEFAULTS from the Utilities submenu options list to display the Factory
Defaults screen.
