An integrated signal-conditioning circuit fabricated in BiCMOS technology performs the sensing function using a surface-micromachined array of capacitive sensors, amplifies the sensor cell output then compensates and linearises the temperature using a third order, polynomial transfer function. The resulting output voltage is proportional to the applied pressure.
