SAFETY PRECAUTIONS... 02H Safety precautions MUST be followed at all times throughout the construction of your building! Care must be taken when handling various pieces of your building since many contain sharp edges. Please wear work gloves, eye protection and long sleeves when assembling or performing any maintenance on your building. Practice caution with the tools being used in the assembly of this building. Be especially familiar with the operation of all power tools.
ASSEMBLY TIPS & TOOLS 03A Watch the Weather Closely: Be sure the day you choose to install your building is dry and calm. Do NOT attempt to assemble your building on a windy day. Be careful on wet or muddy ground. Use Teamwork: Two or more people are required to assemble your building. One person can hold the parts or panels in place while the other person fastens them together and handles the tools. This makes the process of assembling your building faster and safer.
04A FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q. How long will it take to assemble the building? A. Assembly time depends on a variety of factors, including roof design, tools available, DIY skill and the pace at which you work. Guidelines for each shed assembly are approximate AFTER completion of the base, and assume two or more people working on the assembly. Generally, you should plan on at least one day working with someone who can assist you; again, after constructing the base.
05A Q. What kind of base do I use? A. You can: •Use an Arrow Base Kit •Pour a concrete slab •Build a wood deck/floor (use exterior-grade plywood) •Use patio blocks •Build on crushed gravel, dirt or grass Arrow provides a base kit accessory that is an option for most building sizes. If you are building a wood deck/floor, an Arrow floor frame kit on top of your deck/floor assembles in minutes and provides a floor frame suitable for a 5/8” exterior-grade plywood floor (not included).
Q. What if the rear wall angle and channels are too large to fit inside of the rear wall panels? A. Check the dimensions of wall assemblies. They should be slightly smaller than the floor 06A frames. Lay the assemblies on top of the rear floor frame and pull them up to the top of the wall panels causing the corner panels to stand erect and not lean inward. Caution: Be careful to not scratch the panels on the way up. Q. The wide rib always overlaps the crimped rib. Is there ever an exception? A.

CONSTRUCTING A BASE... 12AH No matter which of the options below you choose for a base, an ARROW ANCHORING KIT is recommended as an effective method of properly securing your building after assembly is complete. OPTION 1: Directly on ground (earth) Assemble your building directly on level ground (grass, dirt, rock, sand, etc.). Allow 1 - 2 hours for construction. OPTION 2: Wood Platform If you decide to build your own base, be sure to select the appropriate materials.
Step 1: Door Track/Header Assembly You will need for this page: 1 9396 SS (QTY:8) Door Track 13BL END VIEW Front Header CORRECT 4 10572 1 INCORRECT Long Leg on top. Door Slide 1 Using the door track, with small holes on top, join the header, short legs on top, as shown using screws. 2 Position door slides onto the legs, from the end of door track, as shown. Set this piece aside for use in Step 4.
Step 2: Floor Assembly You will need for this page: 9403 SS SB Front Floor Frame (QTY:8) (QTY: 2) 1 1 9399 Rear Floor Frame 14BL 10544 2 Side Floor Frame If using a wood platform or concrete slab do NOT fasten your Floor Frames to your Base at this time. You will anchor your building after it is erected. 1 Assemble the four corner of the floor frame using two at each corner as shown. At the front corners fasten bolts through the bottom with nuts on top.
Step 3: Corners/Wall Panels You will need for this page: (QTY: 28) 9389 2 Front Corner Panel (QTY: 4) 10561 2 Rear Corner Panel 10563 2 Wall Panel Be cautious when maneuvering and placing Panels. Once Panels begin to go up it is important to be able to finish in a timely manner to reduce the possibility of wind damage to your building. Use one person to support the Corner while another secures the Panels. Do not leave the Corner unsupported until it is secure.
Step 4: Frames You will need for this page: 1 SS SS (QTY: 2) (QTY: 38) 10565 1 Rear Wall Angle Door Track 16BL 9925 1 Rear Wall Channel 10545 2 10564 2 Side Wall Channel Side Wall Angle 1 Fasten the rear wall angle across the inside top of the rear wall using screws. 2 Fasten the rear wall channel across the middle of the rear wall using screws. Gap 13/16” (2,1 cm) The upper leg of the side wall angles must face the outside of the building.
Step 5: Wall Panels You will need for this page: 6515 SS (QTY: 30) (QTY: 3) 2 Wall Panel 1 Fasten the wall panels at the top and bottom with screws. 2 Fasten the center of each panel to the wall channel with screws. Fasten overlapping ribs as before.

Follow these steps for both door jambs. 1 1 Fasten a door jamb to the front panel with three bolts, nuts and acorn nuts as shown. Push a plug into hole at center of jamb closest to door opening. Hex Nut Acorn Nut Plug 9369 9369 2 Fasten the top of the door jamb to the door track with two screws.
Step 7: Left RoofDoor Beam Assembly You will need for this page: SS (QTY:2) 1 10569 1 10569 Roof Beam The dimension stated below measures from the end of the angle towards the front of the building. Fasten the roof beam, small holes on top, to the side wall angle with screws.
Roof Install Prep Page 20BL Use the information on this page to complete steps 8 and 9. If Roof Beam holes do not line up with Roof Panel holes, shift the building from left to right. If this does not help, your building may not be level. Shim the corners until holes line up. Measure the building diagonally again to make sure the building is square. The building should be square at the base and at the top. This will make roof panels fit better and holes will better align.
Step 8:7: Right/Left Roof Panels Step Continued You will need for this page: (QTY: 18) 80011 1 10558 1 Left Roof Panel Right Roof Panel Measure the building diagonally again and make adjustments to make sure the building is square and level. This will make the roof panels fit better, and holes will align. Installing the roof panels is best done with a step ladder. Begin installing roof panels at the right side of the building. Each screw and bolt in the roof requires a washer.
Step 8: 9: Floor Roof Panel Assembly You will need for this page: (QTY: 12) 22BL 10557 1 (QTY: 2) Roof Panel Narrow roof panel crimped rib is overlapped by wide rib of adjacent panel where possible. 1 Install a roof panel 10557, in the position shown. Fasten middle of rib overlap with a bolt and nut.
Step 10: Gables Panels 9: Corner You will need for this page: 80015 1 SS (QTY: 10) 1 Left Gable (QTY: 6) 23BL 10562 1 Right Gable Position the right gable at the right end of the completed roof by tucking top edge inside the rib of the right roof panel and sliding the lower leg inbetween the leg of the side wall angle and top edge of the wall panels. The front leg of the gable must be positioned inside of the front header.

ANCHORING OPTIONS... 43A IMPORTANT: • • • • If you have swing doors, they must hang and swing level before anchoring building. Anchor your building at this time. See below for details on anchoring. If you have purchased a Floor Frame Kit, you should install it at this time. Please take a moment to ensure that the building is installed in accordance with these instructions and with all applicable regulations.
CARE & MAINTENANCE... 44A Exterior Care: For a long lasting finish, clean and wax the exterior surface. We recommend washing with a mild soap solution. DO NOT use power washing to clean your shed. Using a spray automotive type wax periodically on the exterior is highly recommended if you are in a high humidity or coastal climate region. Combustibles and corrosives must be stored in air tight containers designed for chemical and/or combustible storage.
