2-Butoxyethanol has been found to be mutagenic in bacteria (S. typhimurium).
None of the components are known to cause sensitization in animals or humans.
2-Butoxyethanol has been found to cause adverse reproductive effects in laboratory animals (both
effects on fertility and developmental abnormalities by inhalation and oral routes).
