DMX-Fix is the solution to those occasional nasty compatibility problems. The
ones that usually occur when the crew should all be relaxing in the bar!
The recent evolution of more sophisticated DMX512 control, including
DMX512-A and RDM (Remote Device Management) provide a wealth of
benefits. Unfortunately they have also highlighted some of the design flaws in
products on the market. The example seen most often is the lamp that flickers
every 3 seconds, which is caused by the lamp's software not checking the
DMX512 start code. The fault would not show up with plain and simple
DMX512; with RDM data it sees the RDM poll as if it were standard DMX data.
The effect is that it flickers or judders.
At 3am, faced with a rig of flickering lights, it is not much help to know that you
are facing a design flaw. That's where DMX-Fix comes in. DMX-Fix is totally
automatic and requires no configuration. It filters all the clever stuff out of the
DMX line allowing even the twitchiest DMX receivers to function correctly. It
also fixes all the common DMX512 timing errors such as missing stop bits,
incorrect break length etc.
Just to add to the flexibility, DMX-Fix is also an optically isolated splitter. The
product is housed in a robust extruded aluminium case.

Rail-Flip is a modular A-B switch for DMX512 that supports 4 universes.
Its primary purpose is automatic switching between a primary and backup
lighting controller. It can also be used to switch between different lighting
control positions.
Switching can be selected to fully automatic or manual. Multiple products can
be cascaded to increase the universe count. The product also features
detailed configuration including loss of data time and whether to switch back to
primary if data recovers. Rail-Flip is powered from a 9 to 48 VDC power
source.
