5.4.3 Sound Characteristics
The Characteristics filter
Further refinement of your search is available through a third filter: “Characteristics”.
This allows you to choose presets according to sonic qualities such as:
 Acid
 Aggressive
 Ambient
 Bizarre
 Bright
 Complex
 Dark
 Digital
 Ensemble
 Funky
 Hard
 Long
 Noise
 Quiet
 Short
 Simple
 Soft
 Soundtrack
As with other criteria, these filters can be applied either individually or in any desired
combination.
5.4.4 Additional Filters
The Favorites and User filters
The last filters allow you to choose favorite or user presets.
 Presets are marked as Favorite in the list of sounds by clicking the bullet in the
FAV column .
 Presets provided with Analog Lab are Factory while programs created by users
are marked as User. If the User filter is selected, the user programs will be the
only presets shown. If you have not created any User presets, you will see no
sounds listed.
