User Manual
8.10.2.15. Local Control
It controls the ability of the Dumbrute to be played by means of its own pads and sequencer.
The local control message has one parameter, which is "on" or "off" value. When off, the
sound-producing part of the Drumbrute and the pads/sequencer behave as two separate
units.
Pressing a pad or playing a sequence will not produce a sound but will send messages on
the MIDI Out port, while the sound-producing part of the Drumbrute will produce sound only
in response to messages coming in through the MIDI In port (USB or MIDI).
8.10.3. Roller/Looper settings
8.10.3.1. Roller/Looper Mode
When the Drumbrute is playing (and record is disabled) the touchstrip can have two
different (but exclusive) behaviors: Roller or Looper. This option allow you to change this
behavior. See Looper/Roller section [p.23]
8.10.3.2. Roller/Looper MIDI
When activated, the touch strip will sends a Control Change each time you touch it (except
when setting a step repeat value) and will be activated each time the corresponding Control
Change is sent to the Drumbrute.
MIDI CC allows you to change Control Change number.
However the ranges are fixed values:
• OFF = 0-24 (sends 0)
• 1/4 = 25-49 (sends 25)
• 1/8 = 50-74 (sends 50)
• 1/16 = 75-99 (sends 75)
• 1/32 = 100=127 (sends 100)
Send/Receive channel is the Global MIDI Channel.
