3.14 Lock/Unlock the Handset
You can protect your IP handset from being used by others by locking it automatically
when placed in a charger or switched off. The handset can only be unlocked with a 1 to 4
digit code. When the handset is locked, it is still possible to send all types of alarms.
This function requires a parameter setting and the function can only be enabled/disabled
using the PDM. The code is set in the handset’s memory and can be changed from the
handset, see
8.5.12 Change the Lock Code on page 34. The handset can also be locked
manually, see 8.5.11 Lock the Handset Manually on page 34.
