teleCARE IP
6.2.1 Active Peripherals
Active peripherals are connected to one of the three room buses of a teleCARE IP room controller.
Each room bus provides eight addresses for the connection of teleCARE IP active peripherals as
described in the table below:

6.2.2 Passive Peripherals
Passive peripherals can be connected to those active peripherals which are equipped with a passive
bus connector. Passive peripherals do not require an address on the room bus as they are connected to
an active peripheral and therefore share the same address.
The table below shows an overview of all the interconnections that can be made between active and
passive peripherals.
