Gas connections
Caution!
• Connect the dryer to the type of gas
shown on the data plate.
• Use a new AGA or CSA approved gas
supply line.
• Use new exible stainless steel
connectors.
• Install a shut-off valve.
• Use pipe joint compound insoluble in LP
gas on all pipe threads.
• Do not use Teon tape.
• Purge the gas supply of air and sediment
before connecting the gas supply to
the dryer; in order to prevent gas valve
contamination. Before tightening the
connection between the gas supply and
the dryer, purge any remaining air until
the odor of gas is identied.
• Do not use an open ame to inspect for
gas leaks, instead use a non-corrosive
leak detection uid
• Do not attempt any disassembly of the
dryer. Any disassembly requires the
attention and tools of an authorized and
qualied service person or company.
• Securely tighten all gas connections.
• If connected to LP, have a qualied
person make sure the gas pressure
does not exceed 13 in. water column.
• Examples of a qualied person include
licensed heating personnel, authorized
gas company personnel, and authorized
service personnel.
• Gas leaks may occur in your system,
creating a dangerous situation.
• Gas leaks may not be detected by smell
alone.
• Gas suppliers recommend you purchase
and install a UL-approved gas detector.
• Install and use your dryer in accordance
with manufacturer’s instructions. Failure
to do so can result in death, explosion,
or re.

installation instructions
Your dryer must be installed by a licensed
plumber or gas tter.
A “T” handle manual gas valve must be
installed in the gas supply line to your dryer.
If a exible gas connector is used to install
your dryer, the connector must have a
maximum length of 3’ (36”).
