SIDE PANELS
Changing the side panels
1. Remove the rear panel by first removing the
12 screws around it and then lifting it off.
2. Models with front loading door: Remove
the front panel in accordance with the section
"Front panel (models with front loading door)
- Removing...".
Models without front loading door: Rem-
ove the front panel in accordance with the sec-
tion "Front panel (models without front loa-
ding door) - Removing...".
3. Remove the panel in accordance with the sec-
tion "Panel - Removing...".
4. Early models: the hole is marked out on the
bottom.
5. Early models: the hole is marked out on the
front rail.
6. Using a narrow chisel, cut off the rivet heads
(7) and break those on the front rail off with
a screwdriver (2).
7. Lift away the side panel.
8. File or grind smooth the places where the ri-
vets were in the bottom and use a polygrip to
flatten the front rail.
WARNING
The edges of the bottom and the front rail where
the rivets were placed must be completely flat and
smooth.
9. Early models: Drill a 6.5 mm diameter hole
in the bottom at the marking.
10. Early models: Drill a 5 mm diameter hole in
the front rail at the marking.
11. Install 3 clips at the bottom of the side pa-
nels.
12. Lift the side panel into place.
13. Secure the cross member, transport beam and
the front rail to the side panels.
14. Secure the side panels to the new bottom.
15. Models with front loading door: Install the
front panel in accordance with the section
"Front panel (models with front loading door)
- Installing...".
Models without front loading door: Install
the front panel in accordance with the section
"Front panel (models without front loading
door) - Installing...".
16. Install the rear panel.
17. Install the panel in accordance with the sec-
tion "Panel -Installing...".
