Installing a SIM card

1.3 Installing a SIM card

The mobile phone will only function fully when a SIM card is

installed.

To install a SIM card:

1. Remove the battery cover as shown, and remove the battery.

Note: A SIM card cannot be inserted while a battery is in

place. See “Installing a battery” on page 7 for more

details.

2. Slide the SIM card into place. Make sure the card is inserted the

correct way so that the gold contacts on the card meet with the

terminals in the card holder.
