Handset setting
9.2.3 Key sound, and slide sound
The key sound and slide sound setting determines whether a sound
is made when a key is pressed, and when the cover is opened. This
setting can only be on or off.
To set the key sound option
1. If the phone is turned off, turn it on as described in “Turning the
phone on and off” on page 10.
2. When the idle screen appears, press the left function key to
display the menu screen.
3. Use the joystick key to highlight the settings icon and press the
left function key or the joystick key to select it.
The settings menu is displayed.
4. Use the joystick key to highlight the Sound And Alert option.
5. Press the left function key to select it.
The sound and alert menu is displayed.
6. Use the joystick key to highlight the Key Sound or Slide Sound
option.
7. Press the left function key to toggle the setting on and off.
9.3 Handset setting
Handset settings include the display language, display properties,
clock stagings, the greeting, auto keylock function, PLMN display,
and the display scheme. You can also reset factory default settings
here.
