Handset setting
3. Use the joystick key to highlight the settings icon and press the
left function key or the joystick key to select it.
The settings menu is displayed.
4. Use the joystick key to highlight the Handset Setting option.
5. Press the left function key to select it.
The handset setting menu is displayed.
6. Use the joystick key to highlight the Greeting option.
7. Press the left function key to select it.
The current greeting screen is displayed.
8. Type a greeting using the keypad.
9. Press the left function key to save the new greeting.
The new greeting will be displayed next time the phone is
turned on.
9.3.5 Auto keylock
The auto keylock function locks the keypad after a period of inactiv-
ity to prevent accidental pressing of the keys. This setting can only be
set to on or off.
To set auto key lock:
1. If the phone is turned off, turn it on as described in “Turning the
phone on and off” on page 10.
2. When the idle screen appears, press the left function key to
display the menu screen.
3. Use the joystick key to highlight the settings icon and press the
left function key or the joystick key to select it.
