Troubleshooting
Most problems with your mobile phone can be solved by reading this
section. If you have a problem that isn’t covered here, or the advice
here doesn’t solve the problem, contact your dealer for more help.
Cannot dial a call.
• Call barring may be preventing you from calling certain num-
bers, see “Call barring” on page 83.
• The SIM card may not be properly installed or may have dirty
contacts. Use Alcohol to clean the SIM card contacts and rein-
stall. See “Installing a SIM card” on page 5.
• If the SIM card is a “pay as you go” type, there may be no
money left to make calls.
• There may be no service in your area. Try calling from near a
window or outside.
Cannot answer a call.
• Call barring may be preventing you from answering certain
numbers, see “Call barring” on page 83.
• You didn’t slide the phone cover open. The phone can only
take calls when the cover is open.
