Aspen Snow-Cool
Rigid Evaporative Cooler Media Replacement Pad Kit Installation Instructions
for the 4500-4800 cfm 8” deep single inlet coolers
This kit is designed to be used to fit multiple brands of coolers. Not all parts will be used. The
pictures below show the parts used for each cooler size. Please reference the pictures as you
follow the installation instructions.
Step 1) Remove the old media per manufactures owner manual. We recommend cleaning the
cooler at this time to remove dirt and debris that can clog your cooler pump.
Step 2) Install the 2 pieces of cooler media that are 20” wide x 22.5” high. There is a groove that
should go on the back (air exit side), bottom of the cooler. The pads must be installed this way
to work properly.
Step 3) The 8 X 23 X 40 unit,
install the 2 Styrofoam
spacers provided on each side
of the media to make the
media fit tightly in the unit.
You do not have to use the
spacers if the media is
secured without the spacers.
Install the 1/2” thick
distribution pad on top of the
cooler pad.
Step 4) For the 8 X 22.5 X 41.25, install the 2 Styrofoam spacers provided on each side of the
media to make the media fit tightly in the unit. You do not have to use the spacers if the media
is secured without the spacers
You are now ready to put the cooler back together per manufactures owner manual. Make sure
the media stays together and aligned so there are not any gaps between the media.
