How To Replace The Filter Care & Maintenance 4 3 Cleaning Instruction To avoid scratching the control panel, do not use abrasive/ caustic cleaning solutions or scrubbing pads. The Green light will be illuminated for most of the life of the filter. The yellow light will come on shortly before your filter should be re-placed. This is the ideal time to order a new filter.
