2.6 Expansion Slots (PCI and PCI Express Slots)

EP2C606-4L/D16 / EP2C602-4L/D16 / EP2C602/D16:

There are 1 PCI slots and 5 PCI Express slots on the motherboard.

PCI slot: The PCI1 is used to install expansion cards that have 32-bit PCI

interface.

PCIE slots:

PCIE6 (PCIE 3.0 x4 slot) is used for PCI Express x4 lane width

cards.

PCIE3 (PCIE 3.0 x16 slot) is used for PCI Express x8 lane width

graphics cards.

PCIE2, PCIE4 ,and PCIE5 (PCIE 3.0 x16 slot) are used for PCI

Express x16 lane width graphics cards.

Please note that PCIE5 is available ONLY when the second

CPU (CPU_AP1) is installed.

EP2C606-4L / EP2C602-4L / EP2C602:

There are 1 PCI slot and 5 PCI Express slots on the motherboard.

PCIE slots:

PCIE1 (PCIE 3.0 x4 slot) is used for PCI Express x4 lane width

cards.

PCIE4, (PCIE 3.0 x16 slot) is used for PCI Express x8 lane

width graphics cards.

PCIE3, PCIE5, PCIE6, and PCIE7 (PCIE 3.0 x16 slot) are used

for PCI Express x16 lane width graphics cards.

Please note that PCIE6 & PCIE7 are available ONLY when the

second CPU (CPU_AP1) is installed.
