5.2 To configure the encoder for use with VingCard Vision

1. Make sure that the USBXpress driver
is installed; see Appendix B for details.
2. Double click on RFIDEncoderConfig.exe.
3. Connect the encoder to USB power; the encoder
will appear in the drop-down-menu at 'USB' in the
upper left corner of the RFID Encoder Configuration
Utility window.
4. Select the encoder in the drop-down-menu.
5. Click the Start button to connect.

7. The firmware version of the encoder will be shown;
make sure that it is the latest version, if not upgrade
the encoder according to Appendix C.
