A. How to insert the CR2 Battery into SCL Body
1. Open the cover by pressing the battery cover slightly.
2. Insert the CR2 battery.
* The battery can be used for about 1 year.
Battery life may vary depending on the amount of use and the environment.
How to register in August App
1. Run the app with the SCL ready to register.
Emergency

2. Create your account and verify your phone
and email.
3. Click the ‘Set up a new device’ button to register your SCL.
4. Select the ‘Set up a lock connected by august’, then click ‘Set
up a yale smart lock’. Skip the ‘Install Smart Lock’ section.
5. Click the ‘Start’ button.
Make sure you’re near your
SCL, and the battery is installed.
Click the ‘Start Setup’ button.
6. Create a name for your SCL and select the house you want to
add this lock to.
7. Your SCL has been registered.
