E N G L IS H 7. Activating Assioma Assioma must be activated to measure the power and cadence. If it is not activated, such measuring will not be performed. The activation also determines the start of the warranty period, allows updating the software and sending diagnostic reports to check the correct operation of the product. Activation is obtained with the specific “Favero Assioma” app, available both for iOS and Android. The app can be downloaded free of charge.
E N G L IS H 8.2. Tightening the pedals Before tightening the pedals, apply a thin layer of grease to the pedal axle thread. Tighten the pedal to the crank-arm using the supplied 8 mm hexagonal wrench at a tightening torque of about 35-40 Nm (25-30 ft lb), a standard torque for the tightening of many pedals. If the crank-arm producer specifies a different tightening torque, apply it. Pay attention to the rotation direction: • Tighten the left pedal counter-clockwise (facing the pedal).

Shoe position check Thanks to its reduced dimensions, the sensor never comes into contact with the shoe even when large size or flat-soled footwear is worn. Before starting to ride, check that the distance between the shoe and the sensor is at least 2 mm.
E N G L IS H 9.3. Cleat release force adjustment Before starting to ride, try to release the shoe several times and make sure that the release force is suitable. The correct direction to unclip is external to the bike. The spring tension can be adjusted using the screw shown in the picture. To increase the tension turn clockwise; to decrease the tension, turn counter-clockwise. Use a 3 mm wrench (not supplied). Increase Adjust the tension of the spring depending on your needs. Decrease 10.
E N G L IS H Important warnings to avoid communication problems during the pairing: • Make sure that there are no other power meters switched on nearby (10 meters). • The bike computer must be within 2 m from Assioma. 10.2. Configuration of power fields Once the pairing procedure has been completed (Chap. 10.1), it is possible to configure the bike computer so that it displays the power data in the preferred way: please refer to the bike computer manual.
E N G L IS H How to perform a manual zero offset: • Switch on Assioma. • Turn on the bike computer or start an app. If Assioma is not detected, make sure it is not already connected via Bluetooth to another device. • Release the shoes from the pedals and make sure that they are not in contact with anything. • Place the crank-arms in the vertical position. • Read the bike computer manual to learn how to: • Open the power sensor menu. • Press the “Calibration” or “Zero Offset” button.
E N G L IS H When the battery of a pedal runs low, the bike computer will display a warning. The remaining battery life, after a low battery warning, will be of about 8 hours. Micro USB connector Magnetic charging connector To charge the batteries, follow the procedure below for each sensor: • Connect the battery charger supplied to an electrical socket. • Connect the USB cable supplied to the battery charger. • Insert the micro USB connector into the magnetic connector (see the picture).
E N G L IS H 14. Transforming Assioma UNO into Assioma DUO Assioma UNO measures the power only on the left pedal. It is possible to buy the right pedal with the sensor (art. 772-51) at a later date and therefore pass to a system equal to Assioma DUO. The left pedal must be paired to the new right pedal using the Favero Assioma app. 15. Removing the pedals To remove the pedal, use the supplied 8 mm hexagonal wrench: • Unscrew the LEFT pedal CLOCKWISE (facing it).

I TA L I A N O 7. Attivazione di Assioma Finché non viene attivato, Assioma non misura né potenza né cadenza. L’attivazione determina anche l’inizio del periodo di garanzia, consente il futuro aggiornamento del software e permette l’invio di report diagnostici per la verifica del corretto funzionamento del prodotto. L’attivazione avviene tramite l’apposita app “Favero Assioma”, disponibile sia per iOS che Android, che può essere scaricata gratuitamente.
I TA L I A N O 8.2. Avvitamento dei pedali Prima di avvitare i pedali applicare un leggero strato di grasso sul filetto del perno pedale. Avvitare il pedale alla pedivella utilizzando la chiave esagonale da 8 mm in dotazione, con coppia di serraggio di circa 35-40 Nm (25-30 ft lb), che è quella usualmente richiesta per il serraggio di molti pedali. Se il produttore della pedivella indica una coppia di serraggio diversa, rispettare quella da lui specificata.
I TA L I A N O Viti di fissaggio Rondelle Tacchetta Coppia di serraggio: 4÷6 Nm (3÷4,5 ft lb) Sono disponibili, come accessorio acquistabile separatamente, le tacchette nere (float 0°), Art. 771-40. 9.2. Verifica posizione scarpa Grazie alle ridotte dimensioni del sensore, anche se si aggancia al pedale una scarpa di grande taglia e con suola piatta, essa non entra in contatto col sensore.

Regolazione della forza di sgancio delle tacchette Prima di iniziare a pedalare, provare a sganciare più volte la scarpa, verificando che la forza di sgancio sia conforme alle proprie esigenze. La direzione corretta di sgancio è verso l’esterno rispetto alla bicicletta. La tensione della molla viene regolata tramite la vite indicata in figura. Per aumentare la tensione girare in senso orario; per diminuirla girare in senso antiorario.
I TA L I A N O Note importanti per evitare problemi di comunicazione durante il pairing: • Assicurarsi che non ci siano altri misuratori di potenza accesi nelle vicinanze (10 metri). • Il ciclocomputer deve essere distante non più di 2 m da Assioma. 10.2. Configurazione dei campi relativi alla potenza Dopo aver effettuato il pairing (Cap. 10.1) potete configurare il ciclocomputer affinché visualizzi i dati di potenza nel modo che preferite: consultare il manuale del ciclocomputer.
I TA L I A N O Per effettuare l’Azzeramento manuale: • Accendere Assioma. • Accendere il ciclocomputer o avviare un’app. Se Assioma non viene rilevato, assicurarsi che non sia già connesso via Bluetooth a un altro dispositivo. • Assicurarsi che le scarpe sia sganciate e che non ci sia nulla in contatto con i pedali. • Posizionare le pedivelle in verticale • Consultare il manuale del ciclocomputer per: • Portarsi sul menù relativo al sensore di potenza. • Premere il tasto “Calibra” o “Azzera”.
I TA L I A N O Quando la batteria di un pedale è quasi scarica, appare un’apposita segnalazione sul ciclocomputer. Dopo tale segnalazione, si hanno circa 8 ore di autonomia. Connettore micro USB Connettore magnetico di ricarica Per ricaricare le batterie, eseguire quanto segue per ciascun sensore: • Collegare il caricabatterie fornito in dotazione a una presa elettrica. • Collegare il cavo USB in dotazione al caricabatterie. • Inserire il connettore micro USB nel connettore magnetico (vedi figura).
I TA L I A N O modello con 2 porte USB. Alcuni modelli potrebbero non caricare completamente la batteria in quanto hanno una corrente minima di carica superiore a 50 mA. 14. Trasformazione da Assioma U N O a Assioma D U O Assioma UNO misura la potenza sul solo pedale sinistro. È possibile acquistare in un secondo momento il pedale destro con sensore (art. 772-51) e quindi passare a un sistema equivalente al prodotto Assioma DUO.

Die Aktivierung bestimmt auch den Anfang der Garantiefrist, ermöglicht die zukünftige Aktualisierung der Software und die Übermittlung von diagnostischen Berichten, um die ordnungsgemäße Funktionstüchtigkeit des Produkts zu überprüfen.

Überprüfung der Schuhposition Dank der geringen Abmessungen des Sensors besteht auch bei Einklicken großer Schuhe oder solcher mit flacher Sohle auf dem Pedal keine Gefahr eines Kontakts zwischen Schuh und Sensor.

Einstellung der Auslösekraft der Schuhplatten Vor Betätigung der Pedale muss mehrmals versucht werden, den Schuh auszuklicken; dabei ist zu prüfen, ob die Auslösekraft den eigenen Bedürfnissen entspricht. Die korrekte Auslöserichtung ist vom Fahrrad aus betrachtet nach außen. Die Spannung der Feder wird über die in der Abbildung dargestellte Schraube geregelt. Um die Spannung zu erhöhen, im Uhrzeigersinn drehen; um sie zu senken, gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen.
DEUTSCH Wichtige Hinweise zur Vermeidung von Kommunikationsproblemen während der Kopplung: • Sicherstellen, dass in der Nähe (10 Meter) keine weiteren eingeschalteten Leistungsmesser vorhanden sind. • Der Fahrradcomputer darf nicht mehr als 2 m von Assioma entfernt sein. 10.2. Konfiguration der Leistungsfelder Nachdem die Kopplung (Kap. 10.

Falls Assioma nicht erfasst wird, sicherstellen, dass es nicht bereits über Bluetooth mit einem anderen Gerät verbunden ist. • Sicherstellen, dass die Schuhe aus den Pedalen ausgeklickt sind und nichts in Kontakt mit den Pedalen ist. • Die Tretkurbeln vertikal anordnen.
DEUTSCH Wenn das Produkt längere Zeit lang nicht benutzt wird, muss dennoch mindestens alle 3 Monate eine Aufladung vorgenommen werden, andernfalls kann die Batterie irreparabel beschädigt werden. Wenn die Batterieladung eines Pedals fast aufgebraucht ist, erscheint am Fahrradcomputer eine entsprechende Meldung. Nach Erscheinen dieser Meldung beträgt die Laufzeit noch zirka 8 Stunden.
DEUTSCH Falls erforderlich kann für die Aufladung von Assioma statt des mitgelieferten Ladegeräts ein handelsübliches Ladegerät für Smartphones benutzt werden. Wenn keine Steckdose für das Ladegerät zur Verfügung steht, kann auch eine gängige „Powerbank“ eingesetzt werden. Bei der gleichzeitigen Aufladung beider Sensoren ein Modell mit 2 USB-Ports verwenden. Bei einigen Modellen könnte es sein, dass die Batterie nicht völlig aufgeladen wird, weil sie einen Mindest-Ladestrom von mehr als 50 mA aufweisen.
DEUTSCH Falls ein neuer Fahrradcomputer gekauft wird, ist es ratsam, ein Modell auszuwählen, das über ein „CT“ (Crank Torque) genanntes ANT+ Profil verfügt, da dieses eine bessere Stabilität der Leistungsanzeige gewährleistet. 18. Bedeutung des LED-Status Schnelles, kontinuierliches Blinken während 3 Sekunden • Zeigt den Zeitpunkt der Einschaltung von Assioma an.
