Calendar with day-of-the-week display
Hour, minute and second display
12 or 24 hour format
Time accuracy (free run): average within 60 seconds per
month
Operating temperature from 0°C to 50°C (32°F to 122°F)
Temperature measuring range from -9.9°C to 50°C
(14.2°F to 122°F)
Temperature resolution 0.1°C (0.1°F)
3. BATTERY INSTALLATION
- Open the battery door.
- Insert batteries in polarity (+) and (-) as indicated.
- Close the battery door.
Warning:
Do not mix old and new batteries.
Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or re-
chargeable (nickel cadmium) batteries.
4. MANUAL CLOCK SETTING
To set the language:
1. Press and hold the [SET] button for couple of seconds,
the clock will go to language setting mode.
2. Press [–] key to toggle dierent language.
To set the calendar:
1. Press [SET] button after language set mode.
2. Press [+] or [–] button sequentially to set year.
3. Holding down either [+] or [–] button will change the
year at high speed.
4. Press [SET] button to conrm year set and go to date
setting.
5. Press [+] or [–] button sequentially to set date.
6. Holding down either [+] or [–] button will change the
date at high speed.
To set the time:
1. Press [SET] button after calendar setting mode.
2. Press [+] or [–] button sequentially to set minutes,
when you press the [+] or [–] button once, the seconds
count reset to 00.
3. Holding down either [+] or [–] button will change the
time at high speed.
To set the format:
1. Press [SET] button after the desired time is set to go to
format setting mode.
2. Press [+] button to toggle between 12hr and 24hr time
display format.
3. Press [–] button to toggle between °C and °F
temperature display format.
4. Press [SET] button to conrm and quit the setting mode.
5. USING ALARM
To set alarm time:
1. Press [+] or [–] button sequentially to set the alarm
time, the alarm time will be shown at time display with AL
icon turned on.
2. Holding down either [+] or [–] button will change the
alarm time at high speed.
To active the snooze alarm:
1. Slide the [ALARM] switch to the “NL + ALM ON”
position, the sign
and Zz will appear on the time display.
The snooze function is activated.
2. When the alarm sounds, press the [SNOOZE/LIGHT]
button. The alarm will sound again in approximately 5
minutes.
3. To deactivate the snooze alarm, slide the [ALARM]
switch to the “NL ON + ALM OFF”/“ALL OFF” position.
6. TEMPERATURE
The temperature is displayed on the temperature eld,
“Hi” or “Lo will be shown on the display, if the temperature
is out of the measurement range.
7. NIGHT LIGHT FUNCTION
- To activate the night light function, slide the [ALARM]
switch to the “NL + ALM ON”/“NL ON + ALM OFF” position.
The Night Light function is activated.
- To deactivate the Night Light function, slide the [ALARM]
switch to the ALL OFF” position.
8. RESETTING THE UNIT
If the unit does not work properly, reset it by pressing the
[RESET] button.
9. CARE OF YOUR CLOCK
- Avoid exposing your clock to extreme temperatures,
water or severe shock.
- Avoid contact with any corrosive materials such as
perfume, alcohol or cleaning agents.
- Do not subject the clock to excessive force, shock, dust,
temperature or humidity. Any of these conditions may
shorten the life of the clock.
- Do not tamper with any of the internal components of
this clock. This will invalidate the warranty and may cause
damage.
10. DISPOSAL OF YOUR OLD PRODUCT
A.: Main unit disposal
- Your product is designed and manufactured with high
quality materials and components, which can be recycled
and reused.
- When this crossed-out wheeled bin symbol is attached
to a product it means the product is covered by the European
Directive 2002/96/EC.
- Please inquire about the local separate collection system
for electrical and electronic products.
- Please act according to your local rules and do not
dispose of your old products with your normal household
waste. The correct disposal of your old product will help
to prevent potential negative consequences for the
environment and human health.
B.: Disposal of at batteries/accumulators
- You, as the end user, are legally obliged (by Battery
Ordinance) to return all at batteries and rechargeable
batteries.
- Disposal in the household waste is prohibited.
According to the “European Directive 2006/66/EC” all
batteries, including rechargeable batteries, which contain
hazardous substances are marked by symbols which
indicate the prohibition of disposal in the household waste.
The designations for the heavy metals concerned are as
follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pd = lead. You can
return at batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge to
the collection points in your community or anywhere else
where batteries/rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thus full your statutory obligations and help protect
the environment.
CAUTION
There is a danger of explosion, if the battery is
incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or
equivalent type, please refer to the engraved battery
marks inside the battery compartment for the correct
battery polarity (+) and (-).
