[] PLAYING STILL PICTURE FILES (JPEG FORMAT)

• JPEG fibs stored on Kodak picture CDs, CD-Rs a_ld CD-RWs can be played as a slide show and enjoyed on

the DVD-3800

• Kodak picture CDs can be played on the DVD-3800

Whe_ a picture CD is played, the photographs on the picture CD ca_ be displayed on a TV

("Picture CD" is a service by which photographs taken on conve_tional silveE film cameras are converted

into digital data and written on CDs For details on Picture CD, contact a store that offers Kodak

development services)

Load the picture CD into the DVD-3800

• When the disc is loaded, a slide show of the still

pictures begins automatically

• The slide show continues until the STOP button is

pressed

Press the STOP button

Load the CD-R/RW on which the stll pictures

have been writte_ into the DVD-3800

• When the disc is loaded in the DVD-3800, the

disc information screen appears

• If there are multiple folders proceed to step 2

• if there are no folders on the disc, proceed to

step 3

Use the • and • cursor buttons to select the

folder containing the fib{s) you want to play,

then press the ENTER button

• To change the folder

Use the • cursor button to select "ROOT" at

the uppe_ right of the screen, then press the

ENTER button The screen in step 1

reappears Select the desired folder

Use the • and • cursor butto_s on the remote

control unit to select the still picture fib from

which you want to start the slide show, then

press the PLAY button or the ENTER button on

the remote co_trol u_it

• The slide show starts

• Only the stll picture files in the selected

folder are played

$Once all the still picture fibs in the folder have

been played, the disc informat on screen

_'To view several of the still pictures stored on the dsc at once:

• Press the MENU button to display up to 9 still pictures at once

• To select and view a still picture (to start the slide show from a specific still picture), use the curso

buttons (•, •, < and I_) to select the desired still picture, then press the ENTER button

•-To temporarily stop the slide show:

• Press the PAUSE button

• To resume the slide show, press the PLAY button

_-To cue a still picture you want to view (from which you want to start the slide show):

• During the slide show, press one of the SKIP (HIll IHH) buttons Press the SKiP _ button to cu{

back to the previous still picture, the SKIP _ button to cue ahead to the next still picture

_--Flipping and rotating still pictures:

• Use the cursor buttons (_, •, < and I_} to flip the still picture
