1. Carefully take the glass shade out of the frame, then discard the bubble bags.

2. Thread two headless screws to the cross bar, then secure them with four lock nuts ( two on

each side of the cross bar). Adjust the length of the headless screws if necessary.

3. Attach the cross bar to the outlet box by using two mounting screws.

4. Pull out the outlet wires and house grounding wire from the outlet box. Make wire connections

using the wire nuts:

---The black wire from the light to the black wire from the power source.

---The white wire from the light to the white wire from the power source.

---Attach the fixture grounding wire to the cross bar with the green grounding screw. Then

connect it to the house grounding wire with a wire nut.

Carefully tuck the wires back into the outlet box.

5. Attach the back plate to the cross bar by inserting the headless screws, then secure it with

bolt nuts.

CAUTION: With silicone caulking compound, caulk completely around where the back

plate meets with the wall surface to prevent water from seeping into the outlet box.

6. Put the glass shade into the frame carefully. Then secure the buckles to fix the glass shade

by using three set screws.(See Fig.1)

7. Install a bulb (not included). See relamping label at socket area or packaging for maximum

allowed wattage.

8. Secure the bottom finial to nipple(-b).

NOTE: There has a drain hole on the bottom finial, do not mix it with the top finial.

9. Attach the stand onto the frame and secure it with the screws.

10. Attach the

dome to the frame by inserting nipple(-a) and secure it with the top finial.

11. Turn on the power at the main fuse or circuit breaker box.
