Das X-8 twin System ergänzt die ASTRO Kanalaufbereitung mit
einer flexiblen Gehäusevariante mit 8 Steckplätzen auf 7 HE für
analoge und digitale Steckmodule. Durch die Zusammenschaltung
mehrerer Basisgeräte ist ein umfangreiches Programmangebot rea-
lisierbar. Das System ist in einem robusten Metallgehäuse unterge-
bracht. Das X-8 twin System bietet Flexibilität, Service-Freundlich-
keit und ein exzellentes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Einsatzge-
biete der X-8 twin beinhalten sowohl die Neukonzeption als auch die
Erweiterung bestehender Kabel-Kopfstellen.

The X-8 twin system completes the ASTRO Head End System
with a flexible housing with 8 slots in 7RU for analogue and digi-
tal plug-in modules. By interconnection, a very extensive program
content can be offered. The entire system is enclosed in a com-
pact metal housing. The X-8 twin offers flexibility, an excellent pri-
ce-performance-ratio and is easy to maintain. The main fields of
application for the X-8 twin are new distribution networks as well
as conversion or expansion of existing head ends.
