2.6.2 SATA Configuration
While entering Setup, the BIOS automatically detects the presence of SATA devices. The
SATA Port items show Not Present if no SATA device is installed to the corresponding SATA
port.
SB SATA Configuration
Allows you to set SATA options.
OnChip SATA Channel [Enabled]
Allows you to enable or disable serial ATA.
Conguration options: [Enabled] [Disabled]
The following items appear only when you set OnChip SATA Channel to [Enabled].

The items in this menu show the CPU‑related information that the BIOS automatically
detects.
The items shown in submenu may be different due to the CPU you installed.
Cool‘n’Quiet [Always Enabled]
This item allows you to enable or disable the Cool ‘n’ Quiet function.
Conguration options: [Disabled by CPU] [Always Enabled] [Always Disabled]
C1E [Enabled]
This item allows your system to utilize the AMD specic ACPI states to save power
consumption.
Conguration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
SVM [Enabled]
[Disabled] Disables this function.
[Enabled] Enables the AMD Secure Virtual Machine mode.
Core C6 State [Enabled]
Enables or disables Core C6 state function.
Conguration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
HPC Mode [Disabled]
Allows you to disable or enable High Performance Computing Mode.
Conguration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
Apm Master Mode [Auto]
Enables or disables Application Power Management.
Conguration options: [Auto] [Disabled] [Enabled]
