12. Serial port (optional). This 9-pin COM port is for pointing devices or other serial devices.
13. Expansion slot brackets. Remove the expansion slot bracket when installing an expansion
card.
14. ASUS Graphics Card (on selected models only). The display output ports on this optional
ASUS Graphics Card may vary with dierent models.

lock slot. The Kensington

lock slot allows the PC to be secured using

compatible PC security cables.
16. Parallel port (optional). This 25-pin port connects a parallel printer, a scanner, or other
devices.
17. LAN (RJ-45) port. This port allows Gigabit connection to a Local Area Network (LAN)
through a network hub.

18. Air vents. These vents allow air ventilation.
DO NOT block the air vents on the chassis. Always provide proper ventilation for your computer.
19. Power switch. Switch to turn ON/OFF the power supply to your computer.
10. Line Out port (lime). This port connects to a headphone or speaker. In a 4, 5.1, or
7.1-channel conguration, the function of this port becomes Front Speaker Out.
11. Line In port (light blue). This port connects to a tape, CD, DVD player, or other audio
sources.
