3.6 Boot menu
The Boot menu items allow you to change the system boot options.
Boot Configuration
CHASSIS INTRUDE
Allows you to enable or disable the chassis intrusion detection function.
Conguration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
Setup Prompt Timeout
Allows you to set the number of seconds to wait for setup activation key.
65535(0xFFFF) means indenite waiting. Conguration options: [1] - [65535]
Boot up NumLock State
[On] Set the power-on state of the NumLock to [On].
[Off] Set the power-on state of the NumLock to [Off].
Quiet Boot
Allows you to enable or disable the Quiet Boot option.
Conguration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
Fast Boot [Enabled]
[Enabled] Select to accelerate the boot speed.
[Disabled] Select to go back to normal boot.
The following four items appear when you set Fast Boot to [Enabled].
SATA Support
[All Devices] All devices connected to SATA ports will be available during
POST. This process will extend the POST time.
[Last Boot
SATA Devices
Only]
Only the last boot SATA devices connected to SATA ports will
be detected during POST. Any hardware change will disable
fast boot.
NVMe Support
[Disabled] NVMe device will be skipped in fast boot mode.
[Enabled] NVMe device will be enabled in fast boot mode.
VGA Support
[Auto] Only installing Legacy OpROM with Legacy OS and logo will not
display during POST .
