舊電腦、筆記本電腦與其他電子設備，其包含有危險性的化學物
質，若當成一般垃圾掩埋時，則有害於環境。經由資源回收的方
式，在舊電腦內使用的金屬、塑料與零組件，都可以打碎並且重
新再利用做成新的產品。而且，環境也能被保護，而不被任何不
受控制所釋放有害的化學物質所危害。
